Knowing when your dog’s health problem is serious enough to take him to the vet or if you can take care of him yourself is a pretty tricky decision. How can you tell? Your dog can’t tell you how bad it is. Nobody likes to pay for a visit to the vet if it’s not absolutely necessary, especially when the costs are rising so fast that pet insurance is a big business nowadays, but then again no responsible dog owner would let their dog suffer if there is anything they can do about it.
